My first experience with Fabulous Flats™ Tandoori Naan (FFTN) was while shopping for a dinner party client - the main dish for the event was an Indian chicken dish with fresh coriander (cilantro) and lemon.  As Basmati is the rice of choice for this and other Indian dishes, naan bread would also be a natural accompaniment as per my clients' wishes.  I was at Whole Foods Market at Union Square in NYC....and there it was, a display of Fabulous Flats™ Tandoori Naan  appealingly packaged in cellophane so you can see the bread which looks, well, fabulous!  I bought several packages for the dinner party and just before serving time, heated them per the instructions on the package and served the warmed naan (I cut it into pieces for ease of service) on a large serving platter that was passed at the dinner table. 

I already knew how delicious the naan was as I had already tasted it!  I could hear the comments from the kitchen by the dinner guests discussing how delicious the naan was and asking the hostess if the Chef made it? By the way, they also loved the coriander and lemon chicken dish!  My client came to the kitchen asking me about the naan so she could tell her dinner guests about it, and when I showed her the packaging, she was pleased to know that she and her guests could buy it at Whole Foods Market!

I've been "best friends" with FFTN ever since that first experience and when I found the garlic and whole grain varieties of FFTN, I was even more in love with it.  As readers of my website know by now, when I come across a ready made food that I believe is the best in taste, quality and value I will be sure to include it on my site so that we can all enjoy the best in food.

On the back of the packaging, there are suggestions on using the naan in other ways besides as an accompaniment to Indian dishes, so here are the results of my testing the versatility of all three Fabulous Flats™ Tandoori Naan - no favorites here - all four were winners:
